Using the regions freshest ingredients, Old Maryland Grill features distinctive dishes celebrating the rich agricultural history of Maryland. We offer the best of the region's meats, produce, oysters and seafood, and source cheeses from a local Amish Dairy. We serve premium dry-aged beef from Roseda Farms of Maryland. All of our seafood is sourced from the Chesapeake Bay Waterways. OMG also offers wines hand-picked from regional vintners, beers from a selection of craft brewers and cocktails made with local spirits. Come dine with us and experience Maryland's best.

MEET THE CHEFS

Executive Chef JOSHUA LABAN PERKINS

Born in Memphis Tennessee, Joshua Laban Perkins developed his love for cuisine as a child dining out nightly with his parents. He took his first kitchen job at the age of fifteen and continued to work his way through the city's top restaurants. After finishing university, Joshua travelled to Europe to complete his masters in hospitality and went on to stage at several Michelin-starred kitchens. In 2000, he returned to the United States for the opportunity to work beside Eric Ripert and restauranteur Maguey Le Coze by accepting the Executive Chef position at Le Bernardin’s "little sister" restaurant, Brasserie le Coze. Perkins quickly earned praise from the local dining scene for sourcing the best local ingredients and combining his training as a poissioner with his European style and technique. In 2005, Perkins and wife Cari opened their first restaurant "The Globe" and gained lauded praise from many local and national publications including Atlanta's Restaurant of the Year" from Atlanta Magazine, "Top 50 Restaurants" from the Gourmet Magazine, and "Top 4 Chefs to Watch Out For" Esquire Magazine. As the Executive Chef of Old Maryland Grill, Joshua applies his sharp contrasts in flavor and keen eye for details by creating contemporary renditions of traditional cuisine with regional ingredients. He is a member of the Southern Foodways Alliance, active in the preservation of locally sourced products, and champions local farmers and fishermen. He and his wife enjoy watching their sons Gabe and Ethan play lacrosse and generally act a fool—much like their father.

Pastry Chef ANNIE CLEMMONS

Originally hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Annie Clemmons gained an undergraduate degree in West European Studies and French from Indiana University and a master's degree in Foreign Policy from American University. Naturally, of course, she decided to become a Pastry Chef. She has been lucky enough to work with Lee Napoli in Boston and various California chefs including Nancy Silverton, Remi Lauvand, Thomas Keller and Douglas Keane. Annie relocated to the DC area with her daughter Harper in 2011. As part of the Old Maryland Grill team, she aspires to write love letters to Maryland through pastry. She also claims to know more about Star Wars than anyone.
